Streaming Local Bands

Broadcast Status:

We are running an unedited streaming broadcast of local bands (pre-recorded music for now- with a live DJ periodically, but live performance streaming also in the future).  It is suitable for dial up or better connections 26-128kbps depending on connection speed and number of listeners. We will not discriminate against production quality or musical style provided that you are a local group. We are still in the process of evaluating various rating schemes, and contests.

You must submit your original music to be played on our Station.
We are accepting submissions to be played through our web site, email, or US postal service.

There are a few requirements however:

1. You MUST be a local band to the Hampton Roads (or surrounding) area ! - This will be confirmed.
2. All submissions MUST be an original work, or a copy of the appropriate compulsory licensing (from Library of Congress) must be included and verified.

All submissions remain the property of the creator/s.
We strongly recommend copyrighting your material before submitting (but it is not required).

Although the streaming technology we use is secure and most users will only be able listen to your music but not save it, there are always the few in the bunch that have got to try to get around the system. We will NOT post your songs available for download, nor will we duplicate, record, edit, or tamper with any of your material without written permission.

WCFStudios will not be held liable for any infringement by other users of the streaming data.

We will accept MP3 (preferred method), WMA (Windows Media), or RAM (Real Player). FREE
We will also accept CD's, and ANY other audio format, however there will be a small one time charge for the conversion of $5/ song. (we would be happy to send you an unedited CD with the MP3's on them free with any paid conversions)
