Mario Miller -

Mario ran into some health problems. He checked into Virginia Beach General Hospital and within 24 hours was unconscious; his liver was struggling and before long completely shut down. At that point he was flown by the Nightingale Helicopter to MCV Hospital in Richmond. Doctors there gave him only two days to live without a transplant and put him on the list in need of a donor liver. Against all odds, considering the little amount of time and his rare blood type, a donor liver was found for Mario. He was very close to death when the transplant surgery took place. Thanks to the unselfishness of an organ donor and some incredible physicians at MCV, he is currently in ICU hoping for a complete recovery.

Mario is only 29 years old and is one of the nicest people you could meet. Those of you that have had the privilege of meeting him know that he has this very special way of adding a bit of sunshine to your day whenever he’s in your presence. He’s managed Half Moon Music in Virginia Beach for many years now making many, many friends, in fact becoming one of the biggest social butterflies in Virginia Beach. He’s very into the music scene here He’s expected to be in the hospital for at least a month and will be unable to work for at least 6 months. Therefore, all of the proceeds will go to Mario to assist him with medical & rehabilitation bills along with cost of living expenses.  Please find it within yourself to make a little effort to help out if you can.
