Introducing Hampton Roads very own local favorite band, "Used
Music"; one of the most entertaining
and engaging bands in the Hampton Roads area today!
Used Music is a stylistically innovative rock band, consisting
of four very talented, and versatile musicians who
stand among some of the most seasoned veterans of the music
industry today. Dedicated to your total listening
pleasure is Joe Pangaro; founder and lead singer / songwriter,
who also plays percussion with incredible timing and precision. With
over 40 years in the business, Joe has played with
national recording artists such as, "The Belmonts, The
Monterey's, The Association, Ray Charles, The Four Tops, The
Temptations", and many more! On lead guitar
and vocals is John Restin, with 26 years experience playing
various concerts up and down the east coast. Also on
guitar and vocals is Chuck Becker, who played locally
with "TFF Band, Part Time Saints and Vintage". And,
last but certainly not least is Pete Mc Closkey on Bass and
vocals, who also played with various local bands, including "Sound
Effects, Pearl, NoFrett, and Fattchance".
Through their collective years of experience playing in various
clubs, they've taken cues from their audience members
who don't always share the same taste in listening material, so
they've made it their mission and commitment
to deliver a different blend of music everyone can enjoy! As
Joe Pangaro remarks, "Why should anyone
have to settle for one sound in one club and travel to another
club to hear something different?"
Used Music covers a variety of music genres, from
the very BEST of the 50's right through to today,
ranging from Classic and English Rock to Southern Rock,
Alternative and Oldies, with choice songs from The
Righteous Brothers, Three Dog Night, The Vogues to Rod
Stewart, and alternating to the sounds of Social Distortion,
Tom Petty, The Who, The Rolling Stones - and so many more. ~ "We
do it all, and we do it quite well!"
