This is a fighter practice schedule, and hopefully late we can do some bomber/escort
practices. Even if it is small, it might help us in TC rooms. (ex: where
should the fighter fly in accordance with the bomber?) stuff like that,
but it will wait till further down the road.
I
have come up with this routine by what countries we might fight in TC rooms,
1 and 2. We will practice with SU,GB,GE,US,JP. In that order.
If
we have say 8 pilots in the room, 4 will go one country, 4 the other ( it
will always be SU Vs GB, SU Vs GE, or SU Vs US or SU Vs JP.) We will alternate
after about 30 minutes of fighting. I feel that GB and GE give us the most
trouble, so they will be what we work on the most.
I
would like to have 2 separate comm channels for both sides. We will need
to practice SA (situational awareness), working together to set the enemy
up, and other team techniques. Below is a schedule of what countries on
what days, and what techniques. Let me know what you all think, the more
input we get, the better we will be as a Squad !
Planes
:
LA7,Ishak,Yak3 / Spit14, Spit9, Typhoon
Tactics:
We
will practice "baiting", 1 person dives down and in front of his
m8's, trying to draw the enemy to his 6, while M8's go in for the kill.
We can decide in the room who will do the "bait" tactic 1st. While
we are doing this, we will practice our communication skills with each other.
Communication is very important to team survival. To much communication
could harm a team, as well as not enough.
Planes:
LA7,
Ishak, Yak3 / 109F, 190D12, 109K
Tactics:
We will do what is called the "YO YO". For this tactic to work,
one team needs to have alt on the other team. Again, we will switch off
(take turns) doing the tactic. How the YO YO works.. One member of the high
alt team, will dive down onto the (we will call enemy team A, and you team
B)enemy, and try to get one or more to follow him back up. While the guy
that dove starts his climb (with more speed and climb rate then enemy) his
m8/m8's will start there dive, if it is done correctly, you can catch the
enemy at a stall while he is trying to follow your team M8 back up, and
that stalled enemy makes for a great kill!
I
think we should stick to this schedule for a while until we get it perfected
(Monday YO YO, Friday baiting), as the tactics are VERY useful in any arena,
especially TC rooms. Now, you all know what your enemy is going to do, lol,
so we will have to simulate, I know you don't want to be the guy who gets
stalled out only to get filled with lead, but if we all work together these
tactics will turn out very useful in TC and elsewhere.
P.S.
Do we have two members with good PC's and good Internet connection? We will
need that for practice. Or we can set up two channels on BC, that way we
could all connect to the same IP, but be on different channels. Just a thought
